White House Lashes Out at Trump Book Author: ‘Peanut-Sized Brain’

Communications chief says Michael Wolff is a “sack of s**t.”

The White House has launched an unprecedented attack on the best-selling author of a new book about Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential election campaign.

In a statement released to The Daily Beast, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung branded Michael Wolff a “lying sack of s--t.”

Cheung also wrote that Wolff, author of All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America, had a “peanut-sized brain.”

Trump’s communications chief was responding to stories in the Daily Beast, which obtained an advance copy of the upcoming book.

They included claims from the book, quoting inside sources, that First Lady Melania Trump “f------ hates” Trump, and that he was afraid of dying in Jeffrey Epstein’s plane after learning that his staff had inadvertently rented an aircraft previously owned by the notorious sex abuser who once claimed to be Trump’s “closest friend.”

It includes anecdotes about Trump’s marriage, suggesting that members of the campaign team did not know where Melania lived, and describes her alleged reticence at making public appearances with her husband; details the unusual behavior of some of the president’s closest aides; and says Trump was “bewildered” at Elon Musk’s dancing and bouncing around the stage during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Answering a request for comment on the stories, Cheung replied: “Michael Wolff is a lying sack of s--t and has been proven to be a fraud.

“He routinely fabricates stories originating from his sick and warped imagination, only possible because he has a severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain.”

The White House also pointed to a statement issued by 2024 co-campaign manager Chris LaCivita and Jason Miller, White House deputy chief of staff for policy, who posted on X: “Michael Wolff’s latest work of fiction is total garbage and should be completely disregarded.

“The scenes are imaginary, the conversations are fake, the dialogue is made-up, and once again, just like his other books falsely attacking President Trump, nobody believes any of it.

“It’s been widely reported that Wolff’s previous works have been riddled with inaccuracies and copyediting mistakes, and this is no different.”

Wolff’s number one 2018 bestseller Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House was slammed by Trump during his first term as a “work of fiction.”

The book about Trump’s first White House tenure raised questions over the president’s mental health.

“I went to the best colleges, I had a situation where I was a very excellent student, came out and made billions and billions of dollars, became one of the top business people, went to television and for 10 years was a tremendous success, as you probably have heard,” Trump said at the time.

While Trump acknowledged he had been interviewed by Wolff, he disputed they had a three-hour, on-the-record conversation, saying: “It didn’t exist, it’s in his imagination.”
