Trump Blames Everyone but Himself After Fourth Indictment
The billionaire even said the “ruling class” was behind his legal woes.

Donald Trump’s campaign released a blistering statement Monday night after the return of an indictment by a Fulton County grand jury that had been probing the former president, accusing the district attorney who investigated his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election of attempting to sabotage his re-election efforts. The campaign statement called Fani Willis, the Fulton County district attorney, a “rabid partisan” who based her two-year probe on “fabricated accusations.” It continued: “Ripping a page from Crooked Joe Biden’s playbook, Willis has strategically stalled her investigation to try and maximally interfere with the 2024 presidential campaign and damage the dominant Trump campaign.” Trump, along with 18 other allies, were named in a 41-count indictment late Monday night. Following its release, Trump fumed on Truth Social, posting that “the Witch Hunt continues!” while misspelling the word “indictment.” He wrote: “19 people Indicated tonight, including the former President of the United States, me, by an out of control and very corrupt District Attorney.” He then complained about an early apparent leak of the documents, adding: “And what about those Indictment Documents put out today, long before the Grand Jury even voted, and then quickly withdrawn? Sounds Rigged to me!”
