Not to be dramatic, but installing a TUSHY bidet to my toilet truly changed my life. I always had visions of bidets in fancy homes with over-the-top bathrooms, but the TUSHY classic changed the game. It’s affordable, renter-friendly and super easy to install—no plumber required. My husband and I are obsessed and have enjoyed using our TUSHY for years. So when the brand reached out to see if I wanted to test their newest model, it was an obvious yes.
The TUSHY Wave is a non-electric bidet (no batteries or plug-in required!) that comes in both elongated and round sizes to accommodate different toilet styles and sizes. It isn’t an extended console like the Classic—instead, it’s an entire seat.

The seat is comfortable and polished, the front and back wash is a new feature I love, and the install remains easy and simple. I think my favorite new feature, however, is that the nozzle that sprays water remains hidden when not in use. After using a Classic model for years, hard water built up over the nozzle over time, and it was not the easiest to clean. Knowing this model has thought ahead and tucks the nozzle away when you’re done is a great improvement.
Cons:
TUSHY says that the Wave fits 95 percent of toilets, and my toilet might be in that remaining five percent. The fit isn’t quite exact, but rest assured, I’m still able to sit comfortably and use the bidet.
When my husband first installed it, the lid wasn’t able to open all the way, so we slid it forward a tiny bit. The edge of the seat sticks out an inch or two from the lip of the toilet, but it’s subtle enough that we don’t really notice it. The one feature I do miss from the Classic, though, is being able to adjust the angle of the water. Perhaps it’s because the fit isn’t exact on my toilet, but I have to do a little scootch in order to feel fully clean.
While the TUSHY Wave isn’t 100 percent perfect, I’m still in love with it and will be a forever fan of TUSHY bidets. If you’re ready to upgrade your bathroom and impress your guests, investing in a Wave is simply a no-brainer.
