Deported MAGA Stooge Does Sudden 180 on Love for Trump

Newly deported Milo Yiannopoulos says he is “very ashamed” of his past support of Trump.

Far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos has suddenly done a 180 on his devotion to President Donald Trump after he was shackled and deported by ICE over the weekend.

Yiannopoulos, 41, made his dramatic about-face on Piers Morgan Uncensored, during which the England-born commentator spoke about how “frightened” he was after ICE agents descended on him at the New Orleans airport on Friday and deported him the following day.

“To think that the promise and hope and joy and the anticipation of Trump 2016 could, sort of, over the course of 10 years, collapse into this ugly, warmongering—taken as a whole—mentally ill heap of crazy, with some of the most unstable and lunatic people seemingly directing the President’s actions,” he told Morgan.

He continued, “If I had any clue that anything remotely like this was even possible, I would never have got involved in supporting Trump in the first place, and I’m very ashamed that I did.”

Yiannopoulos, who repeatedly cheered on ICE during Trump’s brutal second-term migrant crackdown—including declaring on X that the “Justice system should be just ICE”—detailed the physical and emotional toll of his ordeal at the hands of ICE agents.

“I didn’t really understand the physical reality of how institutionalized the brutality is in America. The manner in which they arrest you, they put you in manacles, your hands, your feet, chained together,” he said, gesturing toward his wrists as if shackled. “It hurts a lot more than it looks like on television.”

The former Breitbart News editor said he was moved from a detention facility to a correctional facility and complained that immigration authorities were “trying to keep ahead” of his lawyers.

“No one would tell me anything,” he said. “It was humiliating and disorientating and the rest of it. It was physically degrading. It was frightening. I don’t think I’ve ever been frightened like that before.”

Yiannopoulos said his deportation left him emotionally wrecked, recounting that he ended up “weeping like an old woman for an hour” after falling down a flight of stairs.

“I think maybe in the past I’ve been a little bit blasé when people talked about their trauma, a little bit kind of cavalier when people talked about, you know, stuff kind of... lingering with them, but I get it now,” he said. “And I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”

It’s a far cry from what the ex-MAGA devotee was peddling last summer, when he posted on X, “We have got to deport millions and millions and millions of people. Without that, nothing else matters.”

In another X post, he also called for ICE to initiate on-the-spot deportations of anyone who could not prove their legal status during a stop by federal agents. He attached a photo that read, “Papers, please.”

The Department of Homeland Security said that Yiannopoulos had “legally entered the country” in May 2019 but overstayed his visa and failed to appear for a July immigration hearing.

Yiannopoulos told Morgan that he was unaware of the hearing because officials sent notices to an outdated Florida address. The ex-MAGA devotee, who was openly gay for years before declaring in 2021 that he was straight, claimed that he was married to an American woman and had held a green card that was canceled without notice.

Trump-whisperer Laura Loomer took a victory lap over Yiannopoulos’ detainment on Friday, claiming she “reported him to ICE and the FBI.”

On Tuesday, Yiannopoulos complained that the Trump administration “seems to have kind of devolved into the Loomer admin.”
