U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed to Fox News on Friday that she is in possession of various documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, including his client list, and hinted that they could soon be released to the public.
“It’s sitting on my desk right now to review,” Bondi told Fox News’ John Roberts of evidence against the late billionaire sex offender. “That’s been a directive by President Trump.”
In 2019, Epstein—a successful financier with a long list of extremely powerful friends and business associates, including former President Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, and Britain’s Prince Andrew—died by suicide inside a New York City prison, where he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
Trump was among those with whom Epstein had a long association, with the disgraced financier even describing the the reality star-turned-president as his “closest friend.” In a wide-ranging 2017 interview with author Michael Wolff, who was researching his bestselling book Fire and Fury, Epstein boasted that the first time Trump slept with now-wife Melania “was on my plane” (which was infamously nicknamed “The Lolita Express”).

Even before she was named AG, Bondi has expressed her desire to see Epstein’s so-called “black book” made public. When asked on Friday if she had “seen anything” interesting in the documents, Bondi replied: “Not yet.”
Trump’s return to the Oval Office kicked off with him signing an executive order to declassify files on the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—which Bondi is also reviewing.
