Jason Isaacs apparently “took pride” in the scene where he got to flash his TV family.

White Lotus star Jason Isaacs’ on-screen offspring dropped some inside knowledge about that full frontal scene in this past Sunday’s episode.
Isaacs, the British actor of Harry Potter fame behind the fictional Southern patriarch Timothy Ratliff, let it all hang out in the newest episode, following a tradition of full frontal male nudity on the HBO series. In an interview with TV Insider, Sarah Catherine Hook and Sam Nivola, who play Ratliff children Piper and Lochlan, said that all was not as it appeared underneath Isaacs’ robe.
“That wasn’t his real penis,” Nivola told the site, with Hook chiming in that “it was a prosthetic.” Hook also said Isaacs was particularly gung-ho about donning his NSFW prop. “It was really funny. He was very excited to do it. I think he took pride in the prosthetic,” she said, adding that he gave the cameraman “a nice shot.” Nivola said Isaacs would say, “‘It’s my fake d--- scene today!’”

For his part, though Isaacs apparently found the scene amusing to shoot, he expressed his admiration for show creator Mike White’s regular inclusion of male nudity, which he told Decider “rights the balance of how many naked women I’ve seen growing up on every television show and film.” Isaacs said White uses nudity “sometimes for comedy, sometimes for sex,” or “manipulation” in an effort to create “a good TV moment.”
Isaacs’ character joins a growing line of White Lotus full frontals after Patrick Schwarzenegger, who plays the oldest Ratliff son Saxon, also appears briefly bare earlier in the season. (“I was looking at that d---, bro,” his brother-in-law Chris Pratt admitted after that episode aired.)
Season 1’s Steve Zahn and Season 2’s Theo James were the first two to expose it all on the show. James, who wore 9-inch prosthetic in his scene with Aubrey Plaza, described the prop as “ginormous”, “like a hammer” and “stolen off a donkey in a field.”
Critics have noted that embracing male nudity over female nudity on HBO has become a recurring theme, as popular shows House of the Dragon, Euphoria, And Just Like That… and Scenes from a Marriage each have had their male characters flash viewers in recent years.
