You Have to Watch This Ridiculous Amy Schumer Sex Scene
In “Kinda Pregnant,” Schumer’s character tries to get it on while wearing a fake baby bump because she’s pretending to be with child. What could go wrong?

Lainy (Amy Schumer) is ready to have sex with her new beau Josh (Will Forte). Their desire for each other is undeniable, and Schumer and Forte’s chemistry is undeniable. But there’s a problem: Lainy is faking a pregnancy, complete with a large bump worn over her stomach. It’s certainly a wild choice to commit to faking a pregnancy, but the new Netflix film Kinda Pregnant keeps things light—and most importantly, freaking hilarious.
Their sex should be straightforward. But remember, Lainy’s wearing a large bump—one that if touched, would make it immediately obvious that she’s faking it. Not being able to make contact with someone’s entire torso certainly makes something as physical as getting it on incredibly challenging—but thanks to director Tyler Spindel, Julia Paiva and Amy Schumer’s script, as well very game performances from Schumer and Forte, Kinda Pregnant turns a tremendously awkward moment into a very funny scene.

Lainy has struggled to keep her secret, and having sex with Josh is certain to have her scheme blow up in her face. They make their way to the garage (Josh lives in his sister’s garage, it’s a whole thing), and Lainy has a plan! Lainy has two rules: He can’t touch her, and he can’t look at her. Josh is taken aback, but he’s more than happy to oblige Lainy’s admittedly bizarre request. Well, the blindfold is arguably a common kink, but wearing oven mitts as well is certainly out of Josh’s comfort zone. But he’s game.

Josh wants to perform oral sex on Lainy, but because he can’t move, she has to maneuver to sit on top of him. The physical comedy here is top notch, as Schumer looks like a dog trying to get comfortable on the couch. She gives up her quest and gets right to the good stuff. This is all set to the steamy Rihanna song “Sex With Me,” and the comic irony is delicious.
Despite the strangeness, both Josh and Lainy enjoy the restrictions. Lainy puts herself on top—the only position to ensure secrecy—and the pair are really loving it. They get into the mood by her calling him “Iceman” (he operates a Zamboni). He loves it, goofily shouting “the Iceman cometh!” She faces away from Josh and perfects the rhythm of her movements for both of them.
Everything is going surprisingly great—until someone hits the door opener, and the garage door slowly creaks open. Josh can’t see, but Lainy can; there’s a family of four staring at them in horror. Schumer contorts her face into a hilarious whirlwind of discomfort, as if she’s manifesting herself to dissolve forever. But Josh has no idea anyone’s there, constantly asking what’s going on and if anyone can see. It’s a cacophony of absurdity, and it’s timed so perfectly that you’ll laugh till your stomach hurts.
