Vermont Rep. Becca Balint turned Marjorie Taylor Greene’s “sickening” tweet against her as she hammered House Republicans over their attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and The New Abnormal’s co-hosts Andy Levy and Danielle Moodie applauded the Democrat for fighting fire with fire.

Balint shared a tweet Greene seemed to direct at victims of the LA wildfires in which she wrote: “How is your DEI mayor of LA working out for you? Hiring based on skin color, gender quotas, and identity has virtually destroyed this country.”

Balint added, “It’s become crystal clear that the phrase DEI is used in place of much more offensive terms.”

“Let’s just say what their use of diversity, equity, and inclusion is. You can’t say the N-word, yet. (But) I’m pretty sure that’s coming,” joked Moodie.

She added, “I wish that Democrats would make this clear from the beginning. You wait until things reach their apex until you unveil for the American People what is it that they are actually attacking here.”
