Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Boyfriend Tells Trump’s Press Secretary She Looks ‘Great’

At the Trump administration’s first official press briefing, Brian Glenn felt the need to offer Karoline Leavitt a few words of praise.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend, rising MAGA media star Brian Glenn, told press secretary Karoline Leavitt that she “look[ed] great” at the first White House press briefing of Donald Trump’s term on Tuesday.

Before lobbing a softball question, Glenn, a national correspondent for the far-right network Real America’s Voice, felt the need to offer Leavitt, at 27 the youngest White House press secretary ever, a few words of encouragement.

“Welcome,” he said. “You look great. You’re doing a great job.”

“Thank you,” Leavitt responded.

Turning from praise to his actual question, Glenn began, “Some of us in this room know how transparent President Trump has been the last five or six years.”

“Do you think this latest incident with the president and Colombia is indicative of the global, powerful respect they have for President Trump moving forward?” he continued. “Not only to engage in economic diplomacy, but also world peace?”

“Absolutely,” Leavitt said, seizing the opportunity to gush over Trump’s successful strong-arm effort to convince the Colombian government to accept repatriated migrants from the U.S.

Glenn, who makes no secret of the high esteem in which he holds the president, is one of a number of MAGA media stars set to see increased access to the White House under Trump.

At the briefing, Leavitt remarked on the White House’s aim to open up to a wider array of reporters than the previous administration, including “independent journalists, podcasters, social media influencers, and content creators.”

Some commentators have credited Trump’s willingness to engage with alternative media formats—like his October appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast—with helping him win the election.

Glenn, who has made a career as a far-right broadcaster, has earned a substantial amount of clout among Trump’s supporters for dating Taylor Greene—one of the president’s most outspoken supporters in the House.

He told Politico in April 2024 that together they make up “MAGA America’s favorite couple.”

Glenn’s favorable coverage of Trump seems to have made the now-president a fan. Politico noted that Glenn has likely scored more one-on-one interviews with Trump in recent memory than any other journalist.
