Justin Baldoni Amends Blake Lively-Ryan Reynolds Lawsuit, Launches Website to Explain It All

The embattled filmmaker’s 224-page complaint and 168-page timeline were released on Friday.

The Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively drama continues to heat up as the It Ends With Us actor and director has amended his lawsuit against the actress. In his 224-page amended suit, which can now be found on its own website, Baldoni—who is accusing Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and The New York Times of trying to decimate his reputation—points to metadata from the Times’ website to support his claim that this story has been in the works for a while. Variety reports that in the suit, Baldoni’s legal team says “the paper had access to Lively’s civil rights complaint at least 11 days before its bombshell December 21 report.” In a statement Saturday, the Times refuted Baldoni’s metadata evidence and called the new documents “rife with inaccuracies.” Also brought forth in the amended lawsuit is Baldoni’s claim that Reynolds’ portrayal of feminist Nicepool in Deadpool & Wolverine was “intended to be a transparent and mocking portrayal of Reynolds’ warped perception of Baldoni.” To back up the claim, the complaint cites the Nicepool scene being filmed shortly after Reynolds reportedly yelled at Baldoni during a meeting.
