Judge Jeanine Scrambles to Save Job With Cringe New Video
Pirro ripped up news reports and hailed Trump’s crime crackdown as she fights to stay on his good side.

Jeanine Pirro is apparently determined to remind President Donald Trump where her loyalties lie as she fights to keep her job.
The U.S. Attorney for D.C. shared a video on X marking one year since Trump’s federal law enforcement surge in the capital.
“Hi, it’s been one year since President Trump’s federal surge here in the district and the results have been undeniable,” Pirro says directly to the camera.
The video then cuts to a rapid-fire montage of news reports declaring crime in Washington had fallen to its lowest level in decades.
Pirro reappears clutching a stack of printed-out news stories to complain that “some of the media still think the surge was a waste.”
Trump said he was “disappointed” with Pirro, accusing her of having “folded like an umbrella” over the Reflecting Pool scandal.

A clip cuts to a reporter canvassing D.C. residents about the National Guard’s presence. “I love them,” one person says. Another praises Trump, while others say they feel safer and credit the deployment with deterring crime.

“Now that’s what I call street justice,” Pirro says, before dramatically ripping the papers in half.
The Fox News-style production comes at an awkward moment for the former cable news host, who has found herself on the receiving end of public criticism from her longtime ally Trump.

Pirro angered the president after her office dropped charges against former U.S. Olympian David Hearn, who had been accused of damaging the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool during its renovation.
Pirro’s office ultimately said the damage stemmed from problems with the contractor’s work, which made Trump furious. He said he was “disappointed” with Pirro, accusing her of having “folded like an umbrella” and demanding that she revisit the decision.
Trump wrote on Truth Social that “anybody who thinks the Reflecting Pool wasn’t vandalized should go back to Law School!”
Trump rewarded his longtime television ally by appointing her interim U.S. attorney for Washington in 2025 before she was confirmed.
A public event featuring Pirro and interim D.C. Police Chief Jeffery Carroll on violent crime was abruptly canceled this week without explanation, according to NOTUS.
The cancellation followed a D.C. inspector general report that found a “prolonged, systemic breakdown” in the Metropolitan Police Department’s oversight of crime reporting, raising questions about the reliability of some crime data.

Pirro has meanwhile taken an aggressive approach in another National Mall vandalism case.
Her office sought to detain 41-year-old Melissa Farris, who prosecutors accuse of spray-painting the World War II Memorial and pouring a foaming substance into its fountain.
