ICE Barbie’s Secret Mile-High Double Bed Pictured

Kristi Noem has been using the Boeing 737 MAX to jet around with her adviser and alleged lover.

New images have revealed the plush queen-size bed in a private cabin aboard the luxury aircraft Kristi Noem has been using to jet around the country with her alleged lover-slash-adviser.

The pictures—from a brochure handed out to passengers, and obtained by NBC News, show the bedroom of the homeland security secretary’s leased Boeing 737 MAX 8. Six pillows sit atop the vast mattress, with an armchair and what appears to be a mirrored wardrobe to the right of the bedside. To the left, several windows look out over sun-dappled clouds.

Noem, 54, dubbed “ICE Barbie” for her habit of cosplaying as an immigration enforcement agent, is known to frequently travel aboard the aircraft with her 52-year-old senior adviser, Corey Lewandowski.

The pair—who are married to different people, with whom they have children—are alleged to have been in a relationship for several years.

Images of the Boeing 737 MAX’s queen bedroom, along with other areas of the jet’s interior, come as Noem pushes the Office of Management and Budget to sign off on her bid to purchase the $70 million aircraft outright.

The Department of Homeland Security has been leasing the jet and is reported to have made renovations to the interior, along with painting the outside red, white and blue.

DHS officials have reportedly told OMB that if the application is approved, the aircraft will be used for both deportations and official Cabinet business.

Along with the bedroom and queen-size bed, the plane also features a kitchen, living space, bar, showers, and several large TV sets. Its “exceptional interior design” was reportedly created “by renowned New York designer Peter Marino.”

Asked how exactly the luxurious plane would be used to remove migrants from the country, a DHS spokesperson told NBC: “At least one of the bedrooms is currently being converted for seating to prepare the aircraft to meet the demands of its deportation mission set.”

The jet currently seats a maximum of 18 passengers. Deportation flights typically carry between 50 and 100 migrants.

One unnamed DHS official told NBC the claims of the jet being a “necessary purchase” for deportations were “far-fetched.”

Perhaps mindful of those qualms, the DHS spokesperson told the news outlet the “plane flies at 40% cheaper than what the military aircraft flies for ICE deportation flights,” and that this will eventually save “the American taxpayer hundreds of millions of dollars.”
