Gwyneth Paltrow Gives Brilliant Response to Meghan Markle ‘Beef’

Paltrow responded to speculation about a possible rift between the two over a video that she uploaded to Instagram.

Gwyneth Paltrow just shut down rumors of drama with Meghan Markle in the best possible way.

The Goop mogul, 52, fielded questions from her followers on Instagram stories Tuesday afternoon.

After responding to questions about her podcast, fashion, and family, Paltrow answered another question that read: “Are you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?”

Fans earlier speculated that the actress was throwing shade at the Duchess of Sussex, 43, when she posted a video of herself preparing breakfast over the song “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole, which has been used to promote Markle’s new Netflix show With Love, Meghan.

But it seems that rumors of a drama are unfounded.

“I do not understand this at all whatsoever,” Paltrow said in response to the question about their supposed beef.

“Do you understand this?” she went on, panning the camera to an unexpected guest seated next to her: Markle herself.

Markle shrugged her shoulders and took a bite of her dessert before breaking into a smile.

The duchess’s new homemaking series has gotten an icy reception from critics, with Variety calling it a “forced march.”

Paltrow rushed to Markle’s defense earlier this month in an interview with Vanity Fair.

“I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes,” she said. “I think there’s always more than enough to go around.”
