The New Abnormal hosts are questioning why senior Democratic stalwarts are having such a difficult time rising to the occasion against Trump’s agenda.

The New Abnormal co-hosts Andy Levy and Danielle Moodie applauded California Rep. Robert Garcia for his Elon Musk “d--- pic” insult during a Wednesday first meeting of the House Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency.
When asked if he believed he was creating “effective messaging” with the gambit, Garcia doubled down.“ Well, he is a d---, and I think he’s also harming the American public in an enormous way,” Garcia said.
According to Moodie, Garcia’s retort is exactly how Democrats should be taking back the public’s attention and calling out the Republican agenda.

“Chuck Schumer… Hakeem Jeffries, the list goes on of just people who absolutely are not rising to the occasion,” said Moodie about the Democratic party’s senior stalwarts.

She added, “All I’ve ever known about Democrats is what Hakeem Jeffries offered this week in a presser where he said, ‘We don’t have any leverage.’ What do you want us to do? I want you to step the f--k aside is what I want you to do.”
