Sarah Palin Will Not Be Photographed

CS - Sarah Palin
Chris Miller / AP Photo

Sarah Palin may believe in a right to life, but she does not, apparently, think there is a right to cellphones: Attendees of Sarah Palin’s speech on Friday night to the Wisconsin Right to Life will be unable to carry cellphones, cameras, laptops, or recording devices. The press will also be barred from attendance. Tickets to the event cost $30. “You know, for someone who claims to be a rogue and isn’t afraid of what other people think, it really is sort of hypocritical to not let the media, the press cover your event,” said Wisconsin Democratic Party Chairman Mike Tate. The state’s Republican chairman said he was excited for Palin’s visit, but stressed his party has nothing to do with the limitations.

amazes me how one woman can upset such a tiny percentage of the population ... I guess her values really give liberals pause, that their 'anything-goes' hedonist attitudes will die on the vine, they don't like it, means they might have to get off the gov't tit and find a job for real -- makes me so happy, makes me wanna drill-baby-drill, you betcha!

By "Tiny Percentage" would you be referring to the "majority" who voted against McCain/Palin, or are you referring to your "tiny" memory of the '08 election.

Palin is still hiding from the press and that won't change--she can't afford to show anymore stupdity than she already has....

As for my personal opinion of her, she is still the Dumbest Woman in American, and that won't change either.....

I read most of the insane comments about Sarah Palin. I feel a lot of fear in the ridiculing commentary. Why do liberals even take the time to comment? If Palin is all the things you say she is why bother to say anything? I support her and I don't support anything the left is doing. The jury is in on Obama and his administration...they don't have any idea how to govern. We were sold a bill of goods that turn out to be more bill than good. Palin's just living the dream while the people in power are creating a nightmare for us all. How about commenting on that liberals?

Johnwr3, I would love to. Liberals are just having a little fun at Sarah's expense and it's done with good humor, contrasting the "Tea Baggers," we do not make signs of Sarah in joker paint or hate filled statements. The POTUS is doing just fine to we Liberals, please note Johnny; 1. Stopped the desent into a FIANCIAL COLLAPSE with TARP. 2. Brought Health Care Reform to the forefront soon to be voted on. 3. Signed the Lilly Leadbetter Bill; EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK FOR WOMEN. 4. Extended health care for 14M poor children. 5. Repairing our relationships with Nations of the world that where damaged during the Chenney/Bush debacle. This is his first year. You know Johnny I would think that you and the rest of the ReNOplicans would be grateful that we had the good sense to elect a smart guy for once instead of someone who would pick as a running mate a baffoon who can't finish a term in office that she is elected too.

MajorRevisions

Thank God for Ronald Reagan????? The man who tripled our national debt, never came close to having a balanced budget, Iran-Contra, unemployment grew from 7% when he took office to over 10% in '83 and let's not forget that after one tax cut he raised taxes every year in office which lead to Bush's great line, "read my lips, no new taxes".

|
2:57 pm, Nov 6, 2009
jpelhamtn

When one reads the comments about President Reagan's record...you can only conclude that DAILY BEAST folks have got to be some of the most ignorant people in our nation. Sad isn't it that these people are so out of touch with reality...but when you blindly believe what the liberal media, professors and text books tell you...this is what you get.

Hmm, was that not Speaker Pelosi herself applauding the unveiling, last spring, of President Reagan in the Capitol Rotunda...to join those of Lincoln, Washington & Jefferson? Yes, it sure was. One day, hopefully Sarah Palin's will be there too.

|
3:38 pm, Nov 6, 2009
jpelhamtn

Looks like I left out a word in my earlier post -- that should have read that Speaker Pelosi applauded the unveiling of a statue of Ronald Reagan ...made a permanent fixture of the statues under the Capitol Dome...along with the other GREATS in history.

|
3:41 pm, Nov 6, 2009
MajorRevisions

jp-I lived through Reagan. I was looking for a job in '81 & '82. I was there! Not sure where you get your facts from but tell me one thing I said that isn't true. Black Monday didn't happen? He increased government spending and couldn't balance the budget after his tax cut and then increased taxes every year after that? Did I mention the S & L crisis due to deregulation of that industry during his administration?
Wow, a statue. So you must think that FDR was pretty good also because there's a statue of him in DC not tho mention his dog.

|
5:02 pm, Nov 6, 2009
jpelhamtn

TO >> MajorRevisions:

YES, I lived wonderfully through the golden age of the Reagan Presidency when the nation saw the LARGEST economic jobs expansion in our history & the end of Inflation and the Soviet Union. You are correct that there were many events in the 80's...but the hyped stock market crash did not last long....there was no sustained job loss...and of course President Reagan ended his term and life as a beloved and innovative leader.

And yes, in an age when radical left wing Democrats control the Congress....it is remarkable that the statue of Reagan was allowed to stand with other legends of the American Experience...like Lincoln, Jefferson & Washington.

Sarah Palin, like Ronald Reagan...understands the pulse of the nation...the appreciation for the majesty of American Liberty and Free Enterprise...and the charitable giving that comes from affluence, hard work, pride in community and self-empowerment. President Obama seems tone-deaf on these...so yes...millions are organizing nationwide for Palin...to restore American pride.

|

Possibly cesspool's suffering from terminal RCI (rectal-cranial impaction). Otherwise, how can someone call a conservative Democrat like Jimmy Carter a Socialist?

And MajorRevisions: Your mention of looking for a job during Reagan's reign ('81-'82) brought back bad memories of looking for a job in 1982 when unemployment was high (and Ronnie lied about the grim employment outlook) but not as bad as it would be a year later.

Her 'actions' were to take 2 trips out of her state from Nov. thru July -- with the media making 'news' out of Letterman's reprehensible remarks about her daughter and the constant use of young Levi.

Palin resigned from office so as not to bankrupt her family over silly ethics complaints (25 of them all later ruled foolsih) but none-the-less had to defend herself. (The 26 complains, BTW...19 from one person, 4 from another and 3 from a third person...all Democrats.)

She has now written a book, has 350 offers to campaign for candidates in 2010...she nearly delivered a victory in NY23...boosting a candidate from 20% and third place to 46% and near victory in just two weeks and purged the party of a candidate more in line with Pelosi than Reagan.

Her book tour schedule reads like a campaign one...and hundreds of thousands of her supporters are currently raising money, forming citizen armies to register voters, etc.

She stopped the President's irresponsible rush for healthcare in August, the House & Senate removed the 'death panel' provision (even though Obama then spent 4 weeks denying it was there) and she has revolutionized influence through use of the internet. She also had a widely loved interview in Runner's World Magazine...which won over many based on their Letters To The Editor.

All in all a very great year for an intelligent woman who millions look up to...especially the young women now producing videos on her behalf.

Just two points about Palins book...

1) Sarah Palin didn't write one word of her book. It was written by Lynn Vincent.

2) You folks ever heard of bulk buying? One example of bulk buying is... Townhall Magazine who have bought bulk lots of Palins book, and will give you her book for free if you take a years subscription to their magazine. Other right wing magazines have also done the same thing.

Where is there any objective evidence of Obama's intelligence as compared with, say, Bush or Palin? I mean, we all heard how Kerry was supposed to be smarter than Bush, but then we learned Bush had better grades, better SAT scores, and better scores for intelligence on tests both he and Kerry took upon entering the military.

So, where are Barry's scores? He had to have taken the SAT and the LSAT. Let's have them. Here's my bet: Bush and Palin outscored him on the SAT and he wasn't in the top 25% on the LSAT.

Despite her claim to have an undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism . . .

. . . christer nut-job Sarah Palin simply can not stay "on message."

When christer nut-job Sarah Palin tries to speak extemporaneously it comes out like "word salad."

Maybe christer nut-job Sarah Palin is "speaking in tongues" or maybe christer nut-job Sarah Palin is channelling "queen Esther."

Regardless, her handlers know that christer nut-job Sarah Palin is in love with her own public image, she can't avoid a camera, and an open microphone is enough to destroy her political career.

The christer reich, led by christer nut-job Sarah Palin, cannot tolerate dissent.

She's going to be giving out secret instructions that aren't meant for the rest of us, meaning normal humans. Her masters on Thuban also don't want any sort of photographic record as her shapeshifter abilities aren't entirely stable, and her appearance changes over time.

The vile stupidities and obvious lies that continue to be spewed by the right-wing nuts among us, will hopefully be the final nails in the Republican Party coffin.
We need an opposition party in America that is fiscally responsible, tells the truth and seriously addresses our problems.
The Republicans and their bands of boneheaded followers have been profoundly failing in all three respects since Raygun.

Considering the photo in the cheat sheet, I don't blame her. CHeck out the chicken neck and the Cheney sneer.

Even the fundamentalist right will desert fickle Sara when she dumps Toad Palin and runs off with Mark Sanford.

And yes I agree with periscope, Sara Palin is nothing special to look at by any stretch of my imagination..and that's not what's important here either. What's important is her continuous foot in the mouse stupidity.

that's why people talk about her 24/7! that's why her book went to number 1 before it was even printed, that's why anyone around her (Levi Johnstone) is news, thats why David Letterman attacks her EVERY night! That's why WE discuss her night and day of the TDB!

If you or anyone else thinks Letterman waste time commenting on Palin every night, you are both wrong and delusional. I watch him every night and trust me there are many more interesting and entertaining things in this world besides Palin!!!!!

Should we be less concerned with Obama's continuous foot in the mouth stupidity? And yes, he's said a lot more dumb things than Palin. It's why they make him read from a teleprompter now.

Anyway, it's cute how TDB try to make like Palin (or Michelle Bachman) is the most hated woman in American politics. That distinction is clearly Nancy Pelosi's, though you never hear a word about it at TDB.

"TDB, the site to go to when servers at DailyKos and HuffPo are down!"

The latest evidence of Obama's innate stupidity:

Before his solemn comments on the Fort Hood shootings, he gave a very Presidential "shout-out" (his words!) to someone he called a "Medal of Honor winner".

The only problem? The guy wasn't a Medal of Honor winner. He was a Medal of Freedom winner. Why should Obama have known this? Because Obama was the one who AWARDED the man that medal just three months ago!

No wonder Rahm and the other white boys try to keep Obama on a teleprompter.

Hey Democrats, you keep telling us how "dumb" is Sarah Palin. How about putting up some quotes (real ones this time) where she says dumb things half as often as Obama does. I'll admit: If Palin said as many dumb things as Obama does (and we won't even talk about Biden), then I would agree that she's an idiot.
