 I think most Americans love the nostalgia of seeing an ice cream truck. On a recent trip to New York City, I stumbled upon Van Leeuwen’s ice cream truck posted outside the Standard Hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Think of its pure and sophisticated flavors as an adult twist on the frozen treats of your neighborhood ice cream truck. I tried the pistachio ice cream—probably one of the most difficult flavors to master. The frozen artisan-custard’s rich, nutty flavor, and creamy consistency made for a memorable experience. I recommend stopping by the truck. It will bring out the kid in you but still satisfy an adult taste. |
